These strings feature brass round-winding, which has more mid-range presence than standard bronze, while the lighter gauge helps reduce playing fatigue and eases string bends. So you can enjoy the lush sound of these strings for even longer, the wound strings are protected by an anti-rust coating. This pack includes gauges .012, .016, .025, .032, .042 and .052.

Les cordes Yamaha FS50BT sont absolument excellentes. Je les utilise sur un modèle LL36 A.R.E II en remplacement des cordes d'origine (les mêmes). Compares à d'autres marques (D'ADDARIO phosphore bronze - Elixir Nanoweb...), elles offrent un son plus clair, mieux défini dans le médium et plus cristallin dans l'aigu. La corde de "gros mi" Elixir Nanoweb PB 53 offre un son un peu plus "gras" dans l'extreme grave mais les 5 autres cordes Yamaha sont sensiblement plus précises. Pour ce qui concerne la stabilité du tuning, la palme revient aux PB de D'ADDARIO et aux Yamaha, les cordes de "petit mi" (12) et si (16) d'Elixir étant particulièrement sensibles aux variations de température et d'hygrométrie. La pose est classique. Je recommande ces cordes pour tout guitariste exigeant, disposant d'une guitare folk de bonne facture.
